We are proud to be able to present our Luxemotor Replica Dutch Barge Range. Based on the well respected Branson Boats “Thomas” design of hull, these exceptional quality boats are available on relatively short lead times at outstanding value for money prices.

Available in 50', 57' and 65' lengths, we offer both standard layout boats (with a range of options to allow you to fully personalize your boat), and also a fully bespoke design and build service for those that require a truly unique and individual craft.

All of these craft conform to the Recreational Craft Directive Category “C”. Category “B” is also available (at a small additional cost) for those who require it.

Looks are important for pride in ownership, and above the waterline the Thomas carries all the character and grace of the Luxemotor, with the raking counter, heavy sheer and very purposeful air of the original barges.

Below the waterline is a different matter. A modern efficient V bottomed hull form has been substituted for the burdensome and heavy original. Displacement speeds up to 9.25 knots will be achieved using modest horsepower. A Schilling type rudder provides high maneuverability at low speeds. No ballast is required apart from trim ballast.

The “Thomas” is probably the easiest driven Luxemotor replica around. It's physical dimentions, including the relatively low water and air drafts (2'9” and 6'7” respectively) , mean that smaller waterways remain navigable with a “Thomas”, which is especially important within the British Isles .

The building of your boat is supervised by the Czech Registry, an internationally recognised Notified Body, who ensure that the build is to stringent standards.
