At the Northwich Boat Company, we take your peace of mind very seriously. We want you to be as proud of your boat as we will be.

We appreciate that purchasing a new boat can be a daunting and confusing task, with lots of choices to be made. We have designed and built over 200 boats, so you are in good hands with us.

We make the whole process easy and hassle free. Right from your initial fact finding visit, we will provide you with friendly and practical help and advice. We'll design your boat with you so that you end up with the boat of your dreams. Throughout the building of your boat, we quality inspect the work completed on your boat each and every day. Prior to handing your boat over to you, we conduct a rigerous and detailed pre-delivery inspection, so your dream will never become an nightmare with us.

In contrast to many boat builders we never ask for a massive deposit up front. A payment of £1,000 secures your build slot and allows us to start designing your boat with you. Before the building of your boat commences, we will agree the specification and price of your boat and incorporate these into a British Marine Federation Boat Building Contract, which we will both sign. With a British Marine Federation Contract, YOU OWN what you have paid for, meaning that you can never lose your boat or your money.

Any alterations that you specify either before or during the building of your boat will be agreed between us before any work is carried out and confirmed in writing to you.

WARRANTY & AFTER SALES SERVICE

There is a full one-year warranty on your boat and all its mechanical parts, as well as warranties covering all the domestic and other equipment on board. The engine comes with a two year warranty. However, please bear in mind that the engine must be serviced according to the schedule set down by the engine manufacturer. Looking after your Northwich Boat is therefore no more demanding than looking after your car.

STAGE PAYMENTS

At the Northwich Boat Company, we have structured our stage payments to give you the maximum peace of mind and security.

Our stage payments are set out clearly in the build contract for your boat and reflect the value of the work completed at each stage of the build process.

You therefore know exactly what will be payable and when. And because we use the British Marine Federation boatbuilding contract, YOU OWN the amount of work that you have paid for.
