Our consistently high standards of metal fabrication and woodwork, the fact that we only use quality boatbuilding grade steel, we never use MDF on hull or cabin linings, our careful sourcing of quality boat parts and components (mainly sourced in the UK), and our renowned after-sales service, are all key to maintaining our reputation as one of the UK’s leading boat builders.
Coupled with some important design features, (especially in the important areas of ventilation and insulation), that we believe are unique to us, this means that our boats come with inbuilt integrity and can be owned with pride.
We genuinely believe that our Sailaways are unsurpassed for quality and value. All of our boats conform to the Recreational Craft Directive, and come with pressure tested diesel tanks. All of our Sailaways come with a choice of window layouts, and engines fitted.
Our flexible approach to the build process enables us to keep our lead times short.
The ‘Sailaway Sprayfoamed’ is our starting point with steel front and rear doors and a set of side doors as standard. It comes with a dense application of sprayfoam, battened, some ballast under the floor and a engine fitted.
The ‘Sailaway Lined’ is as per the ‘Sailaway Sprayfoamed’ and lined with oak panels and solid oak trimming throughout (Ash/Ash and Painted Panel with solid wood trimming are also available). It comes with windows and mushroom vents installed. FULL 12v and 230v wiring looms are also included.
The ‘Sailaway Lined with Additions’ is as per the ‘Sailaway Lined’, but has an 2kW inverter installed (3kW upgrade also available) and working, diesel fired central heating installed and connected to three radiators and a calorifier and hot and cold water pipes installed along with a water pump.
We also offer an extensive range of options, such as a fully fitted bathroom or galley should you require one.
